“ I believe that every person’s quiet feelings hold a powerful truth, even if they’re never spoken. I make art that brings the hidden emotions of people into the light, so they can see their own story and know they are truly understood.”

Caravaggio’s Demise

Deal Me In

An artist painting a large canvas in a bright room with a window, a plant, and some artwork on the walls.

I believe in connection. And that’s what you’ll find in my collection of work.

I yearned for connection and purpose and struggled with it. I grew up in the inner city, surrounded by hardship but also raw beauty and resilience. My environment shaped me early—navigating poverty, violence, and the quiet weight of survival. At home, I was raised by a strong immigrant mother and hard working father who sacrificed everything for a better life, but we often spoke in different emotional languages. Struggling to find my place, I battled with alcoholism in my youth—trying to numb the noise of a world that never quite felt safe.

When I turned 30 I asked myself, “If money didn’t exist what would I wanna do with my life” and knew I needed to become an artist. Art became my turning point. What started as an escape became my voice. Through painting, I found a way to process pain, identity, and memory—channeling chaos into creation. My work reflects that journey: the tension between darkness and light, trauma and healing, silence and expression. I’m not just telling my story—I’m reclaiming it, and in doing so, I hope to connect with others who’ve walked similar roads.
